Sheila Bower-Jacquard is a registered clinical psychologist who received her B.Sc. from Acadia University and continued to obtain her M.Sc. from Acadia University.
She has, since 2000, been working in private practice in Nova Scotia. Prior to working in private practice she worked at Windsor Mental Health in Windsor, NS and taught part time for Acadia University in the Psychology Department and Continuing Education from 1994 to 2010.
Sheila has extensive experience providing therapy, assessments and interventions for children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Through the assessment process Sheila helps individuals to better understand the cause of their challenges, identify their strengths and develop a plan to work toward their goal of improving their quality of life. Sheila also enjoys working with therapy groups, helping to develop skills in a relaxed, social setting. Sheila enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
