R. Elaine Campbell, Ph.D

R. Elaine Campbell is a registered clinical psychologist who received her B.A. at Mount Saint Vincent University; M.Sc.  (Community/Clinical Psychology) at Acadia University; and her PhD (Family Relations and Human Development) at the University of Guelph.

Elaine worked at the Mental Health Clinic in Windsor from 1983-1990 and from 1998-2008 where she was Director from 1999-2001. Elaine taught full or part time at Acadia most years from 1983 to 2008. She also taught at the University of Guelph and was an adjunct professor at Dalhousie University.

Elaine retired from the Capital District Health Authority in 2010 and started part time with Bower-Jacquard Psychological Services in 2011.

Elaine has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She takes a developmental perspective helping clients to understand how their personal, social, and work/school interactions affect their sense of self and well-being. Elaine believes in working collaboratively with her clients in helping them to establish and reach their goals.
