Lorraine Lazier is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who received her Bsc from Mt. Allison University, MD from McMaster University, and completed her Psychiatry residency of Child and Adolescent Fellowship training through Dalhousie University.
Lorraine has worked in outpatient public mental health clinic since graduating in 1998 (1998-2002,at the Valley Regional Hospital and with the IWK and West Hants Community Mental Health clinic since 2002) .She is an Assistant Professor with Dalhousie University, Dept. of Psychiatry.
Lorraine’s areas of interest are ADHD, anxiety and the influence of early experiences on brain development. She works collaboratively with family physicians, pediatricians and allied mental health professionals to optimize individual potential, using a holistic approach.
